In your role as an IT Support Specialist (m/f/d) you will be the sole support for a broad range of IT technologies and services, including: Printers, Mac & Windows laptops, VoIP telephones & Softphone applications, mobile devices and contracts, software licensing, IT Inventory and Asset Management, and basic networking.
Your role and responsibilities:
_ Address and resolve incidents and requests; logging of all incidents and requests; engaging other service desk resources or appropriate service resources to resolve incidents.
_ Create a positive customer support experience and build strong relationships through problem understanding, ensuring timely resolution or escalation, communicating promptly on progress, and handling customers with a professional attitude.
_ Handle password resets, software installations & configurations.
_ Troubleshoot computer software/ hardware problems.
_ Provide support for encryption, security/anti-virus applications.
_ Excellent interpersonal and professional communication, both verbal and written (German AND English).
_ Experience in troubleshooting computer hardware and operating system problems (Apple/MAC and PC/Windows) is an advantage.
_ Critical thinking and creative problem solving skills.
_ Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional decorum.
_ Familiarity with web client and server-based technologies, advanced IT software and operating troubleshooting experience in MAC and Windows.
